Playing a Wingman in Battlefield 3 - How to Save For Good

Playing a 'Wingman' in Battlefield 3 - How to Save For GoodThere are many types of ways that you can create a good 'wingman' in Battlefield 3. The 'wingman' is one of the most important parts of the game. As the name implies, it's the guy who is standing beside you, that can do much to aid you.You have a lot of options in selecting your 'save point'. You can choose between the 'Blind', the 'Trouble Maker' and the 'Attacked' choices. You need to think carefully about your 'save point' options, as some of them are more useful than others. The 'blind' option is probably the best choice for most people, but that option isn't the easiest to play with. However, if you want to be a 'blind' player, or you have trouble playing someone else then this is the best choice. It's best to not save at an area which is contested. So if you save at the first place which is already occupied by the enemy, you are not actually helping yourself. Your only purpose would be to be a sort of annoying aid, which would annoy the other players to enter the area and waste time there. Of course, saving at the first occupied place would not be so bad, but don't choose that path as well.Another very good 'wingman' spot is inside the player's base, behind a fence or under a rock, if there is a wall there. If you are close enough to the wall, you can get there very fast, saving you the time and trouble of driving back and forth. One more thing to remember when choosing a save point is to always save at an area where there is a lot of foot traffic, especially on weekends. If you're in a small area, you might find it hard to get a shot off. So your best bet would be to save at an area with lots of foot traffic. If you don't have a lot of traffic, consider using a player character with a lot of skills, which can cover more distance and save you the trouble of having to come back and forth. There are other things that you can do to 'save' for example if you notice a teammate has picked up a bag from the ground, you can 'save' it for later. These are pretty useful because you don't have to worry about anyone stealing your stuff if you don't want to.By playing a 'wingman' type of role, you can actually help your team by making them more effective. The more effective the 'wingman' player, the higher the possibility that he will get an objective.
